Naada Varenyam provides/organizes the Carnatic Music services for the following category of events.
Naada Varenyam, the organisation, started as an idea, to serve the needs of the larger section of classical music loving population. We strive to preserve, propagate & promote, performing classical arts & artistes. Naada Varenyam is a registered micro enterprise (UAN TN08D0056519).
We organise Classical Performing Art concerts/programs. These programs aim at promoting the art and making these arts a healthy profession and livelihood for the practitioners. We also propogate classical music through our Classes, Workshops, LecDems and Talent Promotion Events.
Having decided to name the organasation in Sanskrit, Naada, the sanskrit word for Sound, was a natural choice.
Varenyam was inspired by Deivathin Kural - from chapters dedicated to Lord Subramania that mention Muthusami Diksther's kriti, Subramanyaya Namaste,
which hail Lord Subramanaya as Varenyam, the best ("romba osathi", in mahaperiyava's words).
Thus was born, the brand Naada Varenyam, by the Grace and Blessings of Shri Kanchi Mahaperiyava
The formal inauguration of Naada Varenyam was held on the 14th February 2020, at Sri Krishna Mandiram, Thiruvanmiyur. Padmabushan Sangeetha Kalanidhi Professor T N Krishnan inaugurated the organisation and unveiled the logo. The Inaguration was followed by a grand violin duet recital by Prof T N Krishnan, Viji Krishnan, Kalaimamani Shertalai Anantha Krishnan on the Mridangam and Vidwan Chandrasekara Sharma on the Ghatam.
The event was to a full house audience including celebrity musicians, Sangeetha Kalanidhi Dr. Sowmya, Charumathi Raguraman, to name a few, and many others. Here is the video of the Inaugural function.

Our logo resembles the "Pillayar Suzhi". It has a golden start and a continuum design, with a combination of a circle and an ellipse.
The colour green represents the aadhara sadjamam. The tambura is in it's natural colour.
The four lines inside the tambura, with different shades, represent para, paschyanti, madyama and vaihari - the four stages of Sound.
Our motto, कलौ संकीर्त्य कैशवम् , is inspired from the last few words of a verse in the Padmapuranam.
The verse says that, in this Kali Yuga, the Supreme God can be attained by Singing/Chanting his name.
Sangeethapriyosmi, meaning I love music, is our tag line.
Naada or sound is excellent, and to be wished for. So is its rasa, the flavour and the inner joy derived thereafter. Likewise, the foundation of all soulful delight, the sruti (smallest interval of pitch/intonation distinguished by the human ear), is exalted too. So are the swaras or the seven notes derived from sruti. Laya or the rhythm (or its tempo) is verily most excellent. And last but not the least, the word and its meaning, sung along with a proper naada-sruti-swara-laya is surely blissful. Since all these flow from the Supreme, the Parabrahma, that Parabrahma itself is Naada Varenyam, i.e., known and worshipped through naada.
The above shlokha was dedicated to our organization by our well wisher, a multifaceted personality - Dr. Yanamandra Srinivasa Sarma - a Vedic pundit, a Sanskrit scholar, a performing Carnatic musician, a pravachana karta and a composer. He can be reached at +919866170087 and hamsadwani5@gmail.com
